Meet our beneficiary, Brady Jack Abbott.
Brady Jack Abbott, the eldest son of Brian and Lana Abbott, is a dedicated athlete and freshman at Canton High School. A passionate runner and basketball player, he competes on the Canton JV cross-country team and the Freshman basketball team. Brady also enjoys golf and fishing and looks forward to joining those teams next season. More than anything, he is a strong young man of faith and a member of First Baptist Canton. His unwavering spirit and the prayers of our community have been instrumental in his journey toward recovery.
On December 31, 2024, during a New Year’s Eve celebration, Brady suffered severe injuries due to a firework malfunction. His injuries include extensive facial sutures, impaired vision in his right eye, a fractured nose, the loss of a front tooth, and minor burns and lacerations on his fingers and legs. He was airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he spent eight days receiving critical care. Brady is making remarkable progress, but he will require minor reconstructive surgery in the spring to fully repair his nose.
While we are incredibly grateful for his recovery, the financial burden of hospital bills, air transport, and future medical procedures is significant. The funds raised through this event will help ease these expenses, and above all, your prayers and support mean the world to Brady and his family.
Thank you for standing with Brady on his road to full recovery!
